| 11th June 2008: Winter Warmer |
At the Horse & Trap Mt Eden. Starting
at 7:30pm.
A great time to mix & mingle ,meet new members and old and
confirm how good you were last year. Nibbles and spot prizes. An
ex-cellent way to start the season.
Also Ron & Christine
from Dive, Fish & Snow will present a talk about our next
club trip to Canada & how they can assist us. This trip leaves
NZ on 26th Feb 2009. They will have some door prizes for us.

Don’t forget to join in the fun with the club from Sunday
night 20th July to Thursday night 24th July. Party night will be
on Wednesday. Accommodation at Rangatira Ski Club or your club,

A bad weather day on the mountain is a great day fly fishing the
world famous Tongariro River.

Racing and a very social
week. Formal evenings including a Prize giving evening / presentation
of prizes to winners Ski and novelty races.

you do not have to be the best or fastest to be the ONE.

CANADA 2009 |

Our next trip
is to Canada & is planned to leave NZ on the 26th Feb
2009. 1 week at Big White then 1 week at Silverstar. Ski
in & out accommodation. More details to follow.
Jenny now has got maximum numbers for her trip. If you are still

of cancellations.

Air NZ ski and Snowboard team trip to the IASF meet in Jackson Hole
Wyoming
(the
walking wounded ski trip!!)
This year the Air NZ Ski and Snowboard
Club went to the IASF(international airline ski federation) race meet
in Jackson’s Hole Wyoming. The
WASC(world airline ski championships) is a big snow event , second only
to the winter Olympics in number of participants . Over 600 people attended
this year (more attend when held in Europe!).
This year we went to meet the
